Journal information
This notice explains how JCMR collects and uses information when you use the journal website.
For submissions, JCMR receives manuscript details, author names, email addresses, affiliations, optional ORCID iDs, declarations, and uploaded manuscript or supplementary files. Reviewer and editor accounts include contact and sign-in records. Basic connection details may be processed to protect the forms from misuse.
Information is used to receive and assess submissions, conduct peer review, contact authors and reviewers, record editorial decisions, publish accepted research, and operate and protect the journal website.
The website uses Cloudflare Workers, D1, and R2 to run the service and store editorial records and files. Unpublished materials are available only to authorized editorial users and reviewers assigned to the manuscript; reviewers receive the anonymized review files.
If an article is accepted, its final text, author names, affiliations, abstract, and citation details may be published. Submission and review records are retained as needed to manage the editorial process and preserve the scholarly record.
You may contact the journal to ask about your personal information or request access or correction. Requests to delete information are considered under applicable requirements and the journal’s need to retain editorial and publication records.
